An experience with the wind in its sails

When the beauty of Lake Balaton in Hungary is combined with a creative program and perfect organization, the result is an unforgettable experience. We organized a four-day teambuilding event for more than a hundred participants from around the world at the stylish Yacht Hotel in Siófok, offering everything from work sessions and adventure trips to adrenaline-fueled activities and a company party. The event combined networking, relaxation, and entertainment in perfect harmony.

Yacht Hotel Siófok – a private marina full of experiences

The Yacht Hotel in Siófok is located directly on the shore of Lake Balaton, in a quiet part of town. The hotel offers stylish accommodation, a panoramic wellness center, and modern conference facilities. For the purposes of the event, the entire hotel was reserved exclusively for the group, creating the ideal environment for informal networking and deeper team bonding without the slightest disturbance.

The morning of the second day was devoted to the working part of the program. The conference hall with natural light, professional equipment, and a view of Lake Balaton provided an excellent setting for productive discussions and presentations. After the meeting, the program moved to the water.

Boat trip on Lake Balaton and trip to Tihany

After the meeting, participants enjoyed a day trip with a unique experience – a boat trip across Lake Balaton to the picturesque town of Tihany, one of the most scenic locations in the area.

Lunch was served on board. During the afternoon, there was a visit to the Benedictine abbey, a walk along the famous Pisky promenade, a stop at the lavender museum, and coffee with a view of the lake at the iconic Rege pastry shop. The day ended with an exclusive wine tasting and dinner at Laopa Gastro Estate, a modern winery overlooking the vineyards and Lake Balaton.

ADRENALINE AND REALAXATION

The third day welcomed us with beautiful weather, so participants could enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. The program was designed so that everyone could choose the pace and type of experience according to their own preferences – from relaxation to a dose of adrenaline.

The optional excursions included:

A bike trip along the shores of Lake Balaton on electric bikes, with routes of varying lengths and difficulty
Sailing on sailboats directly on the lake
Speedboats and flyboards – for those who wanted to experience speeds of up to 80 km/h or float above the water for a while
A visit to Lake Hévíz, the largest natural thermal lake in Europe, with a year-round temperature above 24 °C
Tour of the Csodabogyós cave, which is partially accessible by boat, with a unique underground atmosphere

Each participant could choose an activity that suited them perfectly – whether they were looking for peace and quiet, adventure, or discovering local unique features.

COMPANY PARTIES: MUSIC, FLAVORS, AND EXPERIENCES

We organized the last evening in the style of traditional Hungarian entertainment. The hotel's ballroom was transformed into a space full of folklore, aromas, and colors.

Guests enjoyed a themed dinner, tastings, traditional Hungarian music, and an evening program with a DJ, photo booth, virtual reality, and a racing simulator. There was even a casino for light-hearted entertainment and an informal end to the day.

CONCLUSION

Balaton provided the ideal backdrop for an event that combined work and leisure in perfect balance. Participants took home not only new professional contacts and strengthened relationships, but also memories of moments spent together filled with relaxation, learning, and laughter.
